Status: DeceasedStory: Otto Octavius almost married May Parker, but Spider-Man burst in and brought the wedding to a halt to apprehend the criminal, although Octavius's feelings for the older woman were genuine, and he kept in contact with her.

Story: While Octavius's interest in Trainer was limited to her scienitific expertise, hers went far deeper to long before he became Doctor Octopus. She was introduced to him through her father, Seward Trainer, and entertainingly enough later took up the role of Doctor Octopus and attacked her father for his scientific data and access codes to open up the Master Programmer.
Name: Angelina Brancale (Stunner)
Status: Comatosed
Story: Angelina Brancale found acceptance with Octavius that she could not find elsewhere. Their mutual happiness, though, was brought to a screeching halt by Kaine. She chased down Kaine vengefully. When the oppurtunity to resurrect Octavius came around, she sacrificed herself to help him.
Name: Mary Alice Anders-Burke
Status: Deceased
Story: Otto Octavius met Mary Alice Anders while they were working at the Atomic Research Center. His break-up with her as his mother wished was one of the triggers that led him to become Doctor Octopus. Later, she contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion. Octavius rushed to find a cure when he found out, but failed and wordlessly turned himself over to the authorities, not telling what his AIDS expirements where. Mary Alice died shortly after.
Name: Brigham Fontaine

Story: Doctor Octopus abducted Brigham in order to break into a bank vault that he invented. He took the child genius under his wing and tried to veer him down his own path, but Spider-Man intercepted him and showed Octavius that his path may not be the best path for the boy. Octavius ended up saving the boy, but losing his respect and admiration.
Name: Sinister Six

Story: This group, whose members vary in each incarnation, is always assembled and led by Doctor Otto Octavius. Many times they've nearly destroyed Spider-Man in their combined efforts.
Name: Peter Parker
Status: Living
Story: Doctor Octopus's long time nemesis, while being infuriated with him Octavius really can't see how he could live life without him. Providing his life with a constant challenge to overcome, Octavius has often went out of his way to protect the wall-crawler just so that he can be the one to destroy him. Unfortunately Parker often assumes the worst in Octavius's intentions and rushes to thwart the mad-scientist's plans before he even knows what they are.
